Math
Topic 17 on Data and Graphs is up next. The students will collect data, and read and create several types of graphs. We will also find the mean, median, mode, and range of data.

Social Studies
The test on the Midwest is on Tuesday, May 8th. The second state project is due on Monday, May 14th. We are looking forward to hearing why we should travel to “your” state.

Science

Spring is a wonderful time to begin our next unit, Weather. We will explore the water cycle, what types of weather there are, how weather is predicted, and he we can observe weather patterns.

Continue to practice multiplication facts with your child several times a week. Although we have finished our testing this year, students will be tested again in 5th grade.
Many students have either misplaced or brought their scissors home. Please check with your child to make sure they have scissors at school.
Year in Review DVDs are being sold for $5. Orders need to be turned in by May 25th.
